Test an Inbound Call

To test inbound calls, dial 720-428-2910 from any phone. An access code, providing 120 minutes of free call time, is provided in your welcome e-mail. To obtain a production DID for your account, please e-mail support@inventivelabs.com.

The fee schedule for DID service is:

DID setup fee: $25 (one-time charge)
DID per month: $2

Inbound and outbound calling via Inventive’s Cloud service is 4.9 cents per minute, $50 per month minimum.

If you would like to place an inbound call to the Voice Elements platform, first start the VESampler by clicking ‘Start Sampler’ button in the Elements Dashboard:

Voice Elements Sampler - Start Sampler

Once the VESampler has started, use your landline or cell phone to call the test DID number provided in your welcome e-mail. When prompted, enter the access code provided in your welcome e-mail and the call will then be sent to your Voice Elements server. By default, the VESampler will use the Inbound IVR sample script to answer the call, which will request the caller to enter several DTMF and then play them back, and will record a message and play it back. To end the call, hang up at any time.
