The solutions available for download on the Demo Dashboard can be run against both cloud and on-premises servers. The client requirements are the same for either configuration. There are additional requirements for running the Voice Elements and HMP Elements servers on-premises.
Client Requirements
The demonstration samples can be run on several Microsoft Windows operating systems. Most recent versions of Visual Studio are supported for opening and compiling the sample solutions.

Voice Elements Server Requirements
If running an on-premises Voice Elements server with HMP Elements server, the following hardware is recommended:
- CPU: A modern Intel Core architecture 4-core CPU at 2.6 GHz or greater
- RAM: 4 GB or greater
If running in a virtual machine, equivalent resources should be dedicated to the guest OS on which Voice Elements is installed. Please refer to this article for benchmarks of a reference system at various port densities: Voice Elements Platform Benchmarks
Note: An on-premises Voice Elements server is not required. By default, your trial is configured for cloud access and the samples will run against Inventive Labs’ cloud servers. An on-premises server is only required if you desire to host the telephony server yourself.
