Voice Nexus Service - Connecting Callers to AI Agents

Introducing Voice Nexus Service

Turn Any Phone Number Into an AI Voice Agent

Your phone number just got a lot smarter!

We’re excited to announce the launch of Voice Nexus Service (VNS) — a new Voice Elements product that connects your phone numbers directly to AI-powered voice agents, automating inbound and outbound calls with natural, real-time conversation.

If you’ve been watching the rise of AI voice technology and wondering how to put it to work on an actual phone line — this is your answer.

What Is Voice Nexus Service?

Voice Nexus Service is built on the Voice Elements Cloud Platform and powered by OpenAI Realtime models. It gives you everything you need to deploy AI voice agents that can answer calls, make calls, access your CRM, and hand off to a live agent — all without rebuilding your infrastructure from scratch.

Whether you need an AI receptionist that never sleeps, an outbound agent that follows up with leads automatically, or a webhook-driven call flow that plugs into your existing business tools — VNS makes it possible.

Your AI agent’s behavior, personality, and integrations are fully programmable on a call-by-call basis.

Key Features

Under the hood, VNS is an enhancement to the Voice Elements Cloud Platform that connects your DIDs and WebRTC endpoints directly to OpenAI Realtime voice models — including both gpt-realtime and gpt-realtime-mini. Every inbound call triggers your CallStart webhook, which returns per-call instructions, model configuration, time limits, and tool endpoints in a single JSON response. That means your AI agent’s behavior, personality, and integrations are fully programmable on a call-by-call basis, with no redeployment required. For tool integration, VNS supports both direct API calls and MCP server connections, brokering mid-conversation requests with full session context and feeding results back into the live conversation in real time.

  • Inbound AI Agents — Connect any DID or WebRTC endpoint to an AI voice agent that answers calls 24/7 with natural conversation, with per-call instructions controlled via your CallStart webhook
  • Outbound Campaigns — Initiate AI-powered outbound calls via API for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and proactive outreach
  • Function & MCP Integration — During a live call, the AI can query your CRM, scheduling system, database, or any API mid-conversation, with support for both direct URL adapters and MCP server patterns
  • Built-in Call Control Tools — VNS ships with native tools requiring no server endpoint: end conversations gracefully, execute blind or attended transfers, retrieve call metadata, and more
  • Webhook-Driven Architecture — Control AI behavior, instructions, model selection, and billing context on a per-call basis through your CallStart webhook — no redeployment needed

Voice Agent Demos

Experience AI-powered phone agents first-hand. Visit Voice Agent Demos and place a call in to any of our AI Call Samples. You can call by phone or right from your browser using WebRTC (if you have a microphone connected.) Notice the distinct personality styles that have been programmed into each demo. Simple instructions guide the agent to accomplish goals and tasks. We show you the agent instructions we used so you can see how each demo works. Just click on the How It Works link on each demo card.

Simple, Transparent Pricing

Voice Nexus Service is priced at $0.05 per minute — covering both the VNS service and the cost of the call — with a $50/month minimum. You bring your own OpenAI account; OpenAI Realtime model usage is billed separately at OpenAI’s standard rates.
